These batteries are amazing little beasts. I have been flying them for 10 years in my RV-7A. I get about 3 years out of them before I feel like they are just not up to it for my plane. Old ones go into my riding lawn mower and tractor where they live many more years. Great product.

These batteries are quite dependable. this my second one since I first flew my airplane in 2013. I had unfortunately left my master switch on and drained the battery completely a few times over the years but it always came back to full power when charged. I just thought I wouldnt press my luck with it and purchased another one. The old one still works well in my lawn tractor!

The terminals are a metric M6 bolt size.

This unit does not come with any installation brackets.

No, the Odyssey dry cell battery (11-02233) is not approved for use in certified aircraft.

No, this is an AGM battery and no emissions are omitted.

Q: Does the Odyssey PC680 need to be mounted upright?

This can be mounted anyway except for upside down.

They can be strapped together for 24volts but there is no holder for them.

Part # 11-01945 is a Powersafe battery that is FAA Approved.

No, you do not need a special charger for this battery.
